Welcome to Carson City - Crystal High School, home of the Eagles! Thank you for visiting our website. We consider it a privilege to have parents entrust us with their students’ education. I’m honored to work with a dedicated staff whose first priority is to see that students receive the best education we can offer. Toward that end, we focus on not only students’ classes, but also preparing them for the next level in their lives. This next step might be college, training, or career, but whatever their goals, we work hand in hand with students to prepare them for life after high school.

I’m excited to work with a staff which is highly committed to our students. Our teachers strive to assist all students in achieving their goals. Teachers demonstrate an interest in developing well rounded students by coaching athletics, tutoring students, or sponsoring extracurricular activities. The CC-CHS staff also recognizes the need for ongoing professional development focused on a student centered program of instruction. Our district recognizes the importance of this continued training and provides time for teachers to hone their skills.   We also collect data which is used to monitor student progress. Teachers use this data to plan re-teach and enrichment activities to enhance student learning and growth.

As for me personally, this is my first year in Carson City - Crystal Area Schools. I’m enjoying getting into classes and seeing what teachers are doing, getting to know students, and in general gaining an understanding of our culture here. It’s exciting to see students grow with the help of caring staff.

As the year progresses, we’ll have many opportunities for fans, parents, and the community to become involved with our school. We invite you to join us!
